“It is expected that in the coming years, Azerbaijan will become one of the safest industrial countries in the region," said the head of the State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mountain-Mining Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Vusal Aghayev, during his speech at the 3rd Industrial Safety Summit held in Baku.
He stated that today industrial safety is no longer just a technical issue: “It is one of the main pillars of national security, stability, resilience, and most importantly — the protection of human life. The strategic course defined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan identifies the enhancement of safety culture, the minimization of risks, and the strengthening of innovation-oriented management as priorities. The Ministry of Emergency Situations implements this course consistently, comprehensively, and proactively,” he emphasized.
It should be noted that the 3rd Industrial Safety Summit is being held with the joint organization of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, SOCAR, and the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association (AISA).
