Pupil of Azerbaijani vocational school did not die of Mantoux test, expert report says

Director General of Forensic Medical Examination and Pathological Anatomy Unit of the Health Ministry Shakir Musayev told APA that the Mantoux test did not cause the death of Namig Salmanov. The examination of the body did not reveal any sign of shock.

According to the expert report, the pupil died of the cardiopulmonary decompensation caused by the symptoms of interstitial pneumonia, rheumatic damage in the mitral valve.

The pupil of vocational school in Lokbatan settlement Namig Salmanov, 16, died after he was vaccinated on November 28.

Soon after it spokesperson for the Health Ministry Safaya Ahmadova told APA that the pupil was not vaccinated.
“He underwent Mantoux test. A small amount of agent is injected subdermally. The probability of death from this test is minimal,” she said.
