First two stations were installed on 3500-meter oil well in Gum Island on the Caspian Sea on May 1, 2010 and Shirvan Oil’s 5000-m well on October 20, 2011.
The experiments conducted in Gum and Shirvan showed that standard stations can detect the abnormal seismic processes that cause quakes 15-20 hours in advance.
A group of experts of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies visited the Cybernetics Institute on December 8, 2011 and learned the work done in the field of warning the abnormal seismic processes and delivering experimental information to the server.
