Baku. Sevil Zeynalgizi – APA. “The temperature is one degree above normal in Azerbaijan. One can not say the weather is abnormal. Simply in November the weather was abnormally cold. Therefore, the temperature close normal in December gives an impression that it is abnormally warm,” Umayra Tagiyeva, director of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry’s National Hydrometeorological Department Bureau told APA. She said the weather will be unchanged in the next two-three days.

“The temperature will be 1-2 degrees above normal, 10… 14 C in Baku and Absheron peninsula. The temperature in the lowland regions is 9… 14 C. South wind will blow in the mountainous areas, positive temperature will be observed, the maximal temperature will be 8… 12 C,” she said.

Umayra Tagiyeva said the weather will change on December 10.
“North wind will grow stronger. The maximal speed of the north-west wind will reach 15-20 m on December 10. This will also influence the temperature in Absheron peninsula and the temperature will be 6… 8 C. Rainy weather will be observed in some regions. But this change will not last long,” she said.

Umayra Tagiyeva said rainless, mild weather is forecasted on December 11.
“Very cold, frosty weather is not expected in the first half of December. The weather will be mild. Relatively cold weather is forecasted for the end of the month,” she said.
