According to her, the discussions are held on determining the place of both mass and individual graves: “It is a very important issue, because 17 years have passed from the burial of these people. There are people, religious figures living in these villages who know the place of these mass graves. It is necessary to obtain this information from those people while we have opportunity."
ICRC will start new project on clarifying fates of persons who went missing during Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The project envisages the DNA testing of the missing persons’ close relatives with the view of assisting the governmental bodies in clarifying the fate of the missing persons.
