Wages of doctors and teachers tobe increased in Azerbaijan

According to Ministry of Finance, the wages of employees working in the spheres of education, health, social security, culture, agriculture, melioration, protection of environment will be increased. Besides, the wages of military servicemen, Special-ranked employees and other workers will be increased.

Besides, all benefits and pensions are expected to be increased within the amendments. These include the social payments and benefits for age, disability, losing of head of household, birth of baby, war veteran, including food expenses given to IDPs, martyrâ€™s family and war disabled persons.

Besides, the scholars for students, PhD students and pupils studying in higher, secondary, elementary vocational training systems are expected to be increased. In general, social defense measures will concern to 3 mln persons, within the specification of budget.

Additional funds will be allocated to financial providence of several social and infrastructural projects assuming special importance in social protection of people, during the specification. Thus, the funds will allocated to fulfillment of capital repair, construction and reconstruction of several schools, modern hostels, implementation of gasifying programs in cities and regions.

At the same time, funds are planned to be allocated to the implementation State Program on socio-economic development of Bakuâ€™s villages, construction of roads in Bakuâ€™s villages. Ministry also noted that, fund will be allocated for construction of international sea port in Alat.
