Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan confirms admission plan to doctorate

Except the Ministry of Education, the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan confirmed admission plan to doctorate of ANAS and other organizations, first vice-president of ANAS Arif Hashimov told APA. To him, at ANAS, 176 places have been allotted for admission to doctorate at full-time department on Doctor of Philosophy, 39 places at correspondence department. 108 full-time and 81 correspondence places allotted on Doctor of Philosophy, 18 full-time and 30 correspondence on Doctor of Science, 145 full-time and 13 correspondence on Doctor of Philosophy via dissertation.

But Hashimov said that date of admission was not known yet: â€œSome rules must be prepared for it. Appointment of research manager, selection of topics, creation of working condition demand much time. We want those who finished school this year to take part in the examinations as well. Final decision on the date of admission to doctorate will be made by the Cabinet of Ministers.
