The head of state has an executive order regarding it and we are controlling the implementation of this order,” Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov told journalists, APA reports.

Chairman of the committee said sometimes the implementation of this order is violated.
“But in order to prevent discord between the local residents and IDPs, President took into consideration a paragraph in the annexes that will regulate this process. According to the order, the families that settled in Baku and Sumgayit in 1992-1993 will move to new flats, these flats will be returned to their previous owners within three or four years. I consider that this problem will be solved gradually,” he said.

Ali Hasanov said the European Court passed judgments on 14 families, whose rights to housing were violated.
“The internally displaced persons were resettled and the flats were returned to their owners. In order to activate this tendency President made the certain annex to the State Program. We have also informed the European Court that the government is dealing with this problem. We will gradually return these houses to their owners,” he said.
