183 crime facts related to human trafficking recorded in Azerbaijan last year

183 crime facts were recorded as a result of measures carried out last year. 70 of them were related to human trafficking, 1 - compulsory work, 3 - sexual exploitation, 2 â€“ involving of underage girls in prostitution, 5 â€“ illegal distribution of porn materials and things, 63 â€“ involvement in prostitution, 77 â€“ keeping of brothels. 70 crime facts were recorded in connection with human trafficking, 39 people were brought to responsibility and 34 victims of human trafficking were determined. 8 criminal groups were revealed this period as a result of the implemented measures. Under article #308 of the Code of Administrative Offences administrative protocols were compiled on 109, consequently, AZN 4251 were paid to the state.

Moreover, 27 from 34 victims determine last year were granted with asylum, most of them were reintegrated to society, all victims were given legal, medical and physiologic aid. Children of 2 victims of human trafficking were placed in boarding school, 5 to kindergarten. According to appropriate decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, during reintegration period 30 people suffered from human trafficking were given lump sum allowance, 5 were given aids from the Aid Fund.
