Admission rules and programs to universities and vocational schools made public in Azerbaijan

Chairwoman of the State Commission on the Student Admission (SCSA) Malayka Abbaszadeh said today at press conference that besides admission rules, student admission examination programs to military vocational schools, test on subjects for admission to university, at the same time test examples, admission announcements to special educational establishments have been published in the journal.

Abbaszadeh said that youths who want to enter military vocational schools will pass examinations from Azerbaijani language, mathematics, physics and chemistry.

Admission to special educational establishments - Police Academy, Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Supreme Military Schools, Supreme Military Medical Faculty of the Medical University, Secondary Military Medical School and Military vocational schools will be conducted in two stages. In the first stage, graduate must pass the doctor and selection commissions organized at these educational establishments, and then must pass test exams from the determined subject held by the SCSA.

SCSA chairwoman added that inventive tests will be applied in 2011 admission examinations as well. Examples for inventive tests have been presented in the 1st number of â€œAbituriyentâ€ journal.

According to words of Abbaszadeh, this year, inventive tests will be added to test block on mathematics in admission examinations. Inventive test on other subjects are considered to compile in future.
