About 100 Azerbaijanis applied to Education Ministry for admission to German universities

Baku. Ulkar Gasimova â€“ APA. About 100 Azerbaijanis submitted documents to the Education Ministry for admission to German universities, APA reports.

Deputy Education Minister Elmar Gasimov told journalists that they are mainly connected with medicine and engineering. A delegation from Germany will arrive in Azerbaijan in a few days to select the students.

Deputy Minister said announcements for education in other foreign countries will be given soon.
â€œPriority specialties have already been determined. I can say that we will give announcements of medicine, engineering, agrarian sciences, biotechnology, genetics, information-communication technologies, in other words specialties necessary for the development of Azerbaijanâ€™s economy,â€ he said.

According to Elmar Gasimov, the persons, who studied abroad through the state programme, have the right to get civil service jobs directly without passing test. Wide opportunities have been offered for civil service employment.
â€œEmployment of the persons, who studied abroad through the state programme, is perfect. It should be noted that our students prefer private sectors. It is good that our students have no employment problems,â€ he said.
