Azerbaijan Health Ministry to examine quality of bread

Chief of Nutrition Hygiene Department of the center Imran Abdullayev told APA that no disturbing facts were revealed concerning the quality of bread last year.

Abdullayev refuted the reports that formalin is added to bread, especially to black bread. He said this medicine has sharp smell.
“Even if a drop of this medicine is added to bread, it will be impossible to approach it. The bread can only be made from wheat flour, rye flour, and their mixture, at the same time water and salt. They are not harmful for health,” he said.

He said the examinations will start in spring.
