Weather forecast for February in Azerbaijan

Director of National Hydrometeorology Department Bureau of Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Umayra Tagiyeva told APA that unstable weather, fall of temperature, precipitation and north wind are forecasted in the first ten-day of February. In the second half of the month the temperature will rise. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal, in some north-western and eastern regions above normal.

The average monthly temperature in Baku and Absheron peninsula will be 3â€¦ 4 C, this is close normal. The temperature will be 1â€¦ 4 C at nights and 0â€¦ -4 C sometimes. The temperature will be 6â€¦ 11 C in the daytimes, sometimes 1â€¦ 3 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 21-24 mm).

The average monthly temperature in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is forecasted to be -2â€¦ -4 C, this is close and a little below normal. The temperature will be -5â€¦ -10 C at nights, sometimes -14â€¦ -18 C, -3â€¦ 2 C in the daytimes, sometimes the temperature will be -5 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 11-29 mm).

The average monthly temperature in Upper Karabakh-Khankendi, Khojavend, Zangilan, Gubadli, Shusha, Khojaly, Lachin, Kalbajar, Dashkesen-Gedebey will be -2â€¦ -3 C, this is close normal and little below. The temperature will be -3â€¦ -8 C at nights, sometimes -15â€¦ -18 C, in the daytimes -2â€¦3 C, in the first ten-day sometimes -5 C, in the third ten-day sometimes 3â€¦ 8 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 25-35 mm), sometimes above normal.

The average monthly temperature in Gazakh-Ganja, Tartar, Aghdam-Fuzuli-Jabrail regions will be 2â€¦4 C, this is close normal. The temperature will range between -2 and 3 C at nights, in the first ten-day sometimes -4â€¦ -8 C, 3â€¦ 8 C in the daytimes, in the first ten-day sometimes 0â€¦ -3 C, in the third ten-day sometimes 7â€¦ 12 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 15-22 mm), in some places above normal.

The average monthly temperature in Balakan-Shaki-Zagatala, Shamakhi-Ismailli, Khizi, Siyazan-Shabran, Guba-Gusar-Khachmaz regions will range between -2 and 2 C, this is close normal. The temperature will be -4â€¦ 1 C at nights, in the first ten-day sometimes -8â€¦ -13 C, 2â€¦ 7 C in the daytimes, sometimes 0â€¦ -5 C, in the third ten-day sometimes 8â€¦ 11 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 24-53 mm), in some places above normal.

The average monthly temperature in Central Lowland regions â€“ Mingachevir, Yevlakh, Kurdamir, Imishli, Ali-Bayramli, Sabirabad, Bilasuvar, Salyan and Neftchala will be 4â€¦5 C, this is close normal. The temperature will be 0â€¦ 5 C at nights, sometimes -1â€¦ -5 C, 6â€¦ 10 C in the daytimes, in the first ten-day sometimes 1â€¦ 4 C, in the third ten-day sometimes 12â€¦ 14 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 21-35 mm).

The average monthly temperature in Masalli-Lankaran-Astara-Lerik regions will be 4â€¦5 C, this is close normal. The temperature will be 1â€¦ 5 C at nights, in the first ten-day sometimes 0â€¦ -3 C, in the mountains -5â€¦ -10 C, in the daytimes 6â€¦ 10 C, in the first ten-day sometimes 1â€¦ 4 C, in the third ten-day sometimes 12â€¦ 14 C. The amount of monthly precipitation will be close normal (norm 44-105 mm).
