An agreement signed between Azerbaijan State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons and ICRC - PHOTO

Speaking at the meeting the Head of the State Commission Eldar Mahmudov noted that Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict still remains unsolved, so war condition still lasts and this creates uneasiness in the point of view continuation of problems such as humanitarian problems like hostage and missing, human destiny. According to him in this regard, the Armenian side is contrary to international norms and law.

Then, head of a working group of the agency Firudin Sadigov made speech with a report on the activities of the State Commission in 2010. During the discussion of the around the report were said that the State Commission held a satisfactory work of importance and has the support of the population.

Secretary of the Commission Shahin Sayilov and head of the Azerbaijan Red Crescent Society Novruzali Aslanov reported on the works that have done in the direction of collecting information about missing persons as a result of Armenian-Azerbaijan Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

Speaking at the meeting, head of the Azerbaijani representation of the International Committee of the Red Cross Sherin Polini said that close corporate relations has formed between ICRC and the State Commission.

Sherli Polini noted that collecting information on prisoners of war, hostages and missing persons is difficult and she thanked the Azerbaijani relevant structures for their assistance in this matter.

Then, between the State Commission and the ICRC signed an agreement on the software "Knowled gebase Ante Mortem / Post MortemÂ».
