ANAS publicizes new facts on 26 Baku commissars

Baku. Ilham Isabalayeva - APA. History institute of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) continues historical researches on 26 Baku commissars, director of the Institute of History Yagub Mahmoudov told APA. He said that first edition of these researches had already been published: â€œDocuments in this edition are very important. We have proved that Shaumyan was head of Dashnak Partyâ€™s Baku Committee. He was a liar. Indeed he wanted to create great Armeniaâ€.

Mahmoudov noted that the collection of documents would be three-volume. The third volume of the collection comprises memories. And it will come off the press in the next few days. Director of the institute also confirmed that these memories were very important: â€œBolsheviks killing our nation together with Shaumyan have been reminded hereâ€.

To him, documents devoted to genocide committed against Azerbaijanis in Yelizavetpol and Yerevan provinces will be published as well. Mahmoudov added that valuable archival documents were being brought from St. Petersburg and Moscow and they were published: â€œEspecially, we have found very valuable documents connected with Nariman Narimanov. Our nation will see the real face of the historyâ€.
