Antalya hosts conference â€œFamily as a value coordinating religion, tradition and modernityâ€

According to APA, in his welcoming speech, heads of the organization Mustafa Yeshil spoke about the importance to protect family model. He said disputes started in 1960s and continued until present day threatened this model. He said family model faced threats in the contemporary world and divorces were increased putting the family institution in danger. Yeshil said the conference aimed to discuss family model challenges and to find ways for protection of this model to make human generations happy and healthy.

Chairman of the Dialog Eurasian Platform Nurlan Grazalin also spoke about the importance of the conference and said he would support concrete proposals to protect the family model.

Deputy Chairperson of the Azerbaijanâ€™s State Committee for Family, Women and Children problems Sadagat Gahramanova was also among the speakers.

Family Academy will be established within the Foundation of Newspaper Publishers and Writers in the end of the event.

The government officials, members of the parliaments, literature and scientific figures, media managers from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Ukraine, Italy and other countries are attending the conference.

Deputy Chairperson of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children problems Sadagat Gahramanova, Chairman of the National Broadcasting Council Nushiravan Maharramli, Chairman of the Writers Union Anar, Dialogue Eurasian Platforms representative for Azerbaijan Mustafa Saatci, APA Director General Vusala Mahirgizi, editor-in-chief of â€œ525th gazetâ€™ newspaper Rashad Majeed and other scientific and media figures are in the Azerbaijani delegation.

Delegations from 50 countries are attending the conference.
