Azerbaijan to attend World Social Security Forum

Baku â€“ APA-Economics. World Social Security Forum will be held in the Cape Town of the Republic of South Africa in November 29 â€“ December 04, 2010.

Azerbaijan Republic State Social Protection Fund Chief Salim Muslimov will take part in the Forum to be held by the joint Management of International Social Security Association (ISSA) and the Republic of South Africa. Participation of worldâ€™s different pension and social insurance organization heads, representatives of international organizations, politicians and scientists is also meant to be realized in the World Social Security Forum.

Discussion of issues like development and tendencies in social security during economical crisis, defining new ways of management on social security organizations, demographic conditions which are considered to be strict problem in many countries and other issues is planned to be discussed in the Forum.

Meetings of 30th Head Assembly, Bureau and of the Council of ISSA will be held within the Forum. Elections for the posts of President of the Organization, Secretary General, Treausrer, members of comission of Inspection and technical commision chiefs is effected in Head Assembly of ISSA which is held every 3 years.

For remind, as a result of high appreciation of Azerbaijan insurance-pension model by authoritative international organizations and financial institutions our country was elected Bureau Member of ISSA in 2004, member of Steering Committee of Associationâ€™s European Network in 2007. Our country has special role in making corresponding decisions within Association.

Taking into consideration all of these, 2 key topics out of 4(â€œAutomated management systems expanding in scaleâ€ and â€œOrganization of actuarial surveys in insurance-pension systems and ways of making decisionsâ€ ) of Information technologies Committee were intrusted to Azerbaijani represenatatives
