Tartar. Teymur Zahidoglu - APA. Representative of the Department of Public Information in the United Nations Office in Azerbaijan Envera Selimović and Director of the International Eurasia Press Fund Umud Mirzayev visited Borsunlu village of Tartar region, APA reports quoting Karabakh’s bureau. Selimović met with residents of the region, took interest in their living conditions, spoke about mine problem which people often met. Mirzayev spoke about works of National Agency and IEPF on mine-clearing process in the Azerbaijani territories. The guests attended the opening ceremony of the board concerning Mine Security in one of the central streets of the village.
Envera Selimović told APA’s Karabakh bureau that she deeply impressed while speaking to local people. To her, UN will realize other projects to protect Azerbaijani civilians from mines and unexploded ordnances (UXO).
