Biggest earthquakes of past 100 years

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev- APA-Economics. The list of biggest earthquakes in the past 100 years has been released. 7-magnitude earthquake in Haiti that took place on January 13, 2010 and caused 270 000 human losses was rated first in the list.
The Haiti earthquake was followed by the 8.2-magnitude quake in Tangshan, China, which resulted in the death of 242 000 people. It was the largest earthquake of the last century.
9.2-magnitude earthquake in Indonesia that took place on December 26, 2004 was the biggest natural disaster in Asia and rated third in the list. The Indonesian earthquake caused largest tsunami and killed 230 000 people.
