A rainy weather condition is observed in the foothills regions, associate director of the Hydro-Meteorological Forecast Bureau of the National Hydro-Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources Umaira Tagiyeva told APA. It is sleety in Baku and Absheron peninsula. The temperature is +3 C in the capital city now.
Tagiyeva said the process would be short-term and the cold atmospheric front would leave the territory of Azerbaijan this evening. The snow and rainfall will end in the daytime on March 19 beginning from the western regions. The strong wind will weaken and pass into the north-east wind.
On March 19, the weather temperature will be +7 C in Baku and +8…+13 C in the lowland regions of the country. In the mountains, it will be -5…0 C at night on March 18-19 and in the daytime - +1….+5 C.
