Baku – APA. The Institute of Oriental Studies of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences held a meeting with the Moroccan ambassador to Azerbaijan Hassan Hami. The ambassador met at first with the Director of the Institute of Oriental Studies, member of the Azerbaijani Parliament, Professor Govhar Bakhshaliyeva, the Institute sources told APA. Bakhshaliyeva informed the ambassador about the researching works in the field of oriental studies, Arabic language and literature, history and culture of Arab countries, religion and social idea.
Hassan Hami said earlier he was working as the university professor and journalist and now he had great interest to the Azerbaijani science. He said he intended to see manuscripts fund and expressed willingness to assist establishing of direct relations between the Institute of Oriental Studies and universities of his country.
