Azerbaijan’s State Commission registered 190 missing persons during Khojaly tragedy

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva - APA. According to recent information, there are 4133 missing persons from the Azerbaijani side. State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons and its working group are working on searching them. Head of the working group at the State Commission on POWs, Hostages and Missing Persons Firudin Sadigov told journalists, APA reports. He said local and international press, international organizations are constantly informed about the activity of the working group. From this standpoint, most countries in the world have information about problems which Azerbaijan faces within the activity with international organizations.

Sadigov noted that 190 missing persons during Khojaly tragedy had been registered in Azerbaijan’s State Commission: “But it doesn’t mean that the number of missing persons during Khojaly tragedy is 190. The State Commission determines the number of missing persons by the information from different sources. During the aggression of Armenians, a lot of people were killed. There were cases when missing persons had no relative alive so that they can appeal about them”.
