Baku – APA-Economics. Japanese car manufacturer Toyota is calling back 1.43 million hybrid Prius and Lexus CT200 cars globally over faulty airbags, Kyodo news agency reported Wednesday.
The recall includes some 743,000 cars in Japan, 482,000 in the United States, and 141,000 in Europe, according to the news agency.
According to the automaker, the airbags could partially inflate with parts of the inflator entering the interior of the vehicle, which could lead to an injury.
Toyota promised to fix the problem free of charge.
