MES: Licensing procedure simplified, but qualification of construction works to be controlled

Heydarov noted that one of most developed spheres during past 12 years is construction sector: “Everyone can obviously see the construction works carried out with the participation of state investments, as well as local and foreign investors. We must pride in that construction works carried out in Baku and other cities are highly valued and the guests are able to see magical development of Baku”.

The minister noted that the State Agency for Control over Construction Safety formerly operated under the State Committee for Construction and Architecture and documentation process on construction works was taking more than 245 days: “After the Agency was transferred to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, this period was significantly reduced. The businessmen will already be able to get online information via codes given to them on shortcomings about the construction works and it will not take long”.

Heydarov said that the licensing procedure has been simplified but qualification of construction works will be controlled.
