Industrial enterprises in Baku Bay to be replaced by various facilities

According to him, it was also offered to build business centres, sport venues, hotels, parks, boulevards in the territories from where the industrial enterprises will be removed, as well as increase the length of Seaside Boulevard from 3.5 km to 25 alongside the Baku Bay: “Then there will be built large hotels, business, trade and entertainment centres in the coastline in width of 50-200 m, new 8-10 lane highways, new line of Baku Metro on these highway, and roads for special transport and battery-driven vehicles for tourists”.

Alesgerov noted that sport, leisure and entertainment centres, beaches, parks and gardens will be located on the coastline of Baku Bay. Alongside with the State Flag Square, there will be located oil museum and academy, modern art museum and national historical museum: “Existing cargo port will be replaced by rowing canal and international exhibition centre, National Sport Complex, hotels (Olympic villages)”.
