Baku. Musa Ahmadov – APA-Economics. In January-July 2016, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) made AZN 32,122,600,000, down 3.0% from previous year.
State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that the decline is caused by 30.7% decrease in production of construction products and services. At the same time, 38.79% of the value added was formed in industry, 11.30% in trade, repair of transport vehicles, 9.37% in construction, 6.88% in transport and storehouse, 2.72% in tourist accommodation and catering services, 5.68% in industry, forestry and fishery, 1.96% in information and communication, and 15.84% in other spheres.
Net taxes to product and import made 7.46% of GDP. GDP per capita amounted to AZN 3,340.6 ($2,155.2).
