Baku. Agshin Rafigoglu – APA-Economics. In January-May of 2016, Azerbaijan manufactured machinery and equipment, transport facilities, cars and trailers worth AZN 90.3 mln.
State Statistical Committee told APA-Economics that machinery and equipment manufacturing dropped 29.3%, other transport facilities slipped 6.2 %, cars and trailers rose 41.5%.
As of June 1, number of finished private cars made 110.
106 trucks were manufactured in the country during the same period, down 18.5% in comparison with 2015.
At the same time, 292 special purpose vehicles were manufactured during the same period, up 12.3% compared to a year earlier finished products - 209.
Tractor manufacturing fell 43.9% to 253 (finished products - 2).
