Ten thousands of stolen phones are in use in Azerbaijan

Establishment of registration of mobile devices will prevent usage of such devices, said the head Press Services of Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies Mushfig Amirov.

According to him, stolen mobile devices are brought to China, Thailand, Malaysia and other countries and after different renewing operation they are exported to the countries less registration systems, including Azerbaijan.

Generally, technical parameters of such mobile devices donâ€™t appropriate the standards. AT present, ten thousands of such devices are in use across the country.

Ministryâ€™s official noted that, during past 3 years, 330,000 stealing cases were occurred in England, 190,000 â€“ in Spain, 31,200 â€“ Turkey (as well, 7 death cases).

Amirov says establishment of registration system will allow the subscribers to use mobile devices more calmly.
