Baku – APA-Economics. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has received the Secretary General of International Telecommunication Union Hamadun Turen, on November 23. Ture appreciated Bakutel-2011 exhibition and conference.
Ture spoke about Azerbaijan’s achievement in this sphere. He noted that, Azerbaijan’s joining the assistance campaign of African countries was important.
Azerbaijani President I. Aliyev noted that, information and communication sphere was one of the main spheres in Azerbaijan.
Head of state stated that, Azerbaijan would participate in all projects that organization offers.
Cooperation perspectives of Azerbaijan with ITU were discussed at the meeting.
