According to APA-Economics, high ranked officials of CAREC member states, WB, EBRD, IMF, UN Development Program attend the meeting.

According to Samir Valiyev, Azerbaijanâ€™s Deputy Minister of Economic Development, CAREC coordinator in Azerbaijan, the conference will support the cooperation of regional countries. He informed that, 2011 was successful year for CAREC by holding 4 committee meeting and 1 meeting of high-ranked officials.

Head of ADB Eastern Asia Department Klaus GerhÃ¤user noted that, 3 documents which are considered to signed at the conference will be discussed at todayâ€™s meeting. These include CAREC 2020 Strategy, Cooperation Development Review and Working plant of CAREC institute.
