Direct flights to be opened on Baku-Gabala route

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. AZAL intends to launch direct flight on Baku-Gabala route, AZALâ€™s official Maharram Safarli said.

To him, Gabala international airport can receive all types of aircrafts: â€œNew airport can receive Â«Boeng-757Â», Â«Boeing-767Â», as well as Â«Boeing-747Â» and Â«AnÂ» aircrafts. We hope that several international flights will be soon launched hereâ€.

As to launching of Baku-Gabala flight, AZAL official noted that the mentioned flight was not on the agenda yet: â€œBaku-Gabala, as well as charter flights by the order of tourism companies are planned to organize in future tooâ€.

Note that, by the opening of Gabala International Airport, the number of international airport hit 6 in the country.
