Azerbaijan’s President attends opening of the bridge and the hotel, as well as the groundbreaking ceremony of water-sewer system in Gakh region

The president was informed about reconstruction works done in the region.

Thereafter, President Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the metal bridge, built over Hamamchay river on Ilisu-Saribash road.

The head of Irrigation and Water Management Ahmad Ahmadzade told the head of state that, in order to protect Gakh city from floods of rivers, a concrete dam length of 1622 meters was constructed here in 2009-2011. Currently, work is continuing on the site in 186 meters. At the same time, a concrete dam 670 meters long was constructed for flood protection of Alibeyli village.

President Ilham Aliyev also acquainted with working project for flood protection of Ilisu village. The President cut the red ribbon symbolizing the opening of the bridge.

The president then attended the opening of Hotel â€œEl Resortâ€. The President cut the red ribbon symbolizing the opening of the hotel. He was informed that the three-story hotel complex â€œEl Resortâ€ covers an area of 2.7 hectares. The hotel with total area of 3 thousand 660 sq.m consists of a VIP-room, dining room for 120 people, a cafe-bar with 60 seats, gaming and sports halls. It will provide services of Turkish and Chinese baths, a large swimming pool, summer, spring garden, a universal playground.

The President also took part in the groundbreaking ceremony of the water and sewer systems in Gakh city, Gakhingiloy and Gakhbash villages. The head of state put down the pit commemorative metal capsule and included the installation of concrete pouring.
