Azerfon’s client base and income rise 11% and 25% during 98 months of 2011
“Our best prices, strong customer care and growing use of our 3G services ensured the increase of our market share and 25% rise in revenues for 9 months of 2011. We have always had best prices in the market and have always been transparent in pricing. Best prices in the market is the main reason why customers prefer Nar Mobile. Unlike our competitors, we never used konturs, which confused consumers. In 2011 we increased the number of 3G users by 4 times, and currently have over 120,000 regular data users. Independent studies conducted in 2011 showed that average speed of 3G services offered by Nar Mobile in Azerbaijan is even higher for similar services in Britain. Currently we are upgrading our network. With network modernization getting to completion soon our customer will enjoy superior communication experience†– says the CEO of Azerfon, Mr. Jurgen Peetz.
It should be noted that in Azerfon is investing additional 65mln USD for network modernization. Nokia Siemens Network, the leading network equipment manufacturer in the world, is the main partner of Azerfon for upgrading the network. As a part of the network expansion plan for 2011 Azerfon will significantly increase the number of 2G and 3G sites, expand the network to metro stations. Customers will soon feel very strong improvement of network performance.
In summer of 2011 the winners of Eurovision-2011 Song Contest El&Nikki have become the faces of Nar Mobile. A number of TV advertisements of Nar Mobile featured Eurovision winners Eldar and Nigar, thereby making the tariff plans such as “unlimited†and campaigns as “bomb†and “all net affordable at 3 qepik†increasingly popular.
