Baku – APA-Economics. Azerbaijani President İlham Aliyev received Lino Barañao, Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation of Argentina. Head of state noted that intensive cooperation was established between Azerbaijan and Argentine.
“Azerbaijani embassy in Latin American countries was opened for the first time in Argentina. In order to develop regional cooperation the countries must use the all opportunities. Barañao is the first minister visiting Azerbaijan from Argentinaâ€, said the head of state. He noted the importance of mutual visits in extension of relations.
In turn, Barañao said that it was his first visit to Azerbaijan.
Touching upon strategic position of Azerbaijan, the minister said Argentina paid special attention to establishment of partnership relations with Azerbaijan.
