Cargo and passenger transportations by motor transport increase by 10% and 8% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. In January-September, 2011, 81.6 mln tons of cargo and 948.6 mln passengers were transported by motor transport in Azerbaijan, up 9.6% and 8.4% from previous year.

According to State Statistical Committee, 96.4% of passengers used from bus, 3.6% - from taxi cars.

Note that, cargo and passenger turnovers soared 8.7% and 9.5% during the same period.
