Azerbaijani Minister of Communication and IT makes speech at ICT event in Geneva

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijani Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov made speech in the panel session held within the Broadband Commission for Digital Development, Geneva, said head Press Service of the Ministry Mushfig Amirov.

According to him, the Minister has made speech as a speaker and informed about reforms in ICT sector of Azerbaijan, regional projects, especially TASIM project, first telecommunication artificial satellite and other global projects and answered the questions.

MCIT was as a media sponsor of the same event. Participants of event organized Azerbaijanâ€™s press conference. Speaking about press conference Minister also answered the questions of international press.

Amirov also noted that, opening ceremony of ITU Telecom World 2011 international exhibition-conference was held on the second day of the event. Abbasov held bilateral meetings within the event.

Thereafter, Abbasov gave an interview in the ITU Hub special pavilion of International Telecommunication Union.
Note that, the event will last until October 27.
