KATV1 starts TV broadcasting in HD format

Baku. NIjat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s AG Telecom LLC cable TV operator starts TV broadcasting in HD format.

According to Company, all testing and technical works have been completed and recently, it will present special package to the clients. Fo connection, itâ€™s required AZN 60-HD receiver or AZN 33-CAM module. SD receiver owners can get these receivers by paying additional sum. Old SD receivers will be accounted depending on usage term.

At the same time, company presents CAM modules to the clients. CAM modules ail be only used by the subscribers owning TV supplied with digital cable tuners and DVB-c. CAM module owners can watch TV in both SD and HD formats.

Note that, HDTV is a new stage in the development of television.

Remind that, KATV1 has been in operation since 205. The partners are: Â«SN TelecomÂ», Â«Lentinert Global Ltd.Â», Â«Metrovide Sistem Ltd.Â», Â«Viasat HoldingÂ» companies. KATV1 brand in Azerbaijan was presented by AG Telecom LLC.
