One more mobile operator of Azerbaijan to obtain license for 3G services, this month

â€œThe negotiations for a license for 3G services are also underway with another mobile operator of Azerbaijan, Bakcell companyâ€, he noted.

President of Azercell Ali Agan told APA-Economics that the license is expected in October: â€œState management of radio frequencies has decided to allocate frequency resources for us to render services at 3G standard. As minister Ali Abbasov said, the license was expected in a short time. We are ready to provide 3G services for 3 yearsâ€.

Note that, the state administration of radio frequencies has allocated 1900-2100 MHz frequency resources to Azercell. Currently, Azerfon company provides services to 3G-connection at these frequencies.

Remind that, the official price of the license for 3G licenses is AZN 11.

Note that, the 3G standard has been developed by the International Telecommunication Union and called ITM-2000 (International Mobile Telecommunications 2000).
