Azerbaijan hosts â€œThe role of a unified cadastre of real estate and the national spatial infrastructure in a modern asset managementâ€ international conference

The conference organized by the State Committee on Property, provides a variety of presentations and discussions leading experience in foreign countries.

Delivering speech at the conference chairman of the committee Karam Hasanov spoke about the economic development of Azerbaijan in recent years, economic and social reforms, the dynamic development of the oil sector, etc. He noted that all these changes have put new challenges before the committee and the government in creating a modern system of regulation of property relations.

Addressing the meeting, Presidential Administration official on economic policy Mail Rahimov spoke about economic development and stressed the importance of establishing a modern system of regulation, ensure the registration and transparency in real estate.

Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Elmir Velizadeh also made a speech at the event. In his speech, he spoke about the works to build e-government in Azerbaijan, and presented the creation of electronic registry and knowledge base in real estate as part of this work.

Note that, the conference will last two days.
