Cargo transportation via railway decreases by 3% in Azerbaijan

BakÄ±. Nicat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Cargo transportation via railway HAS decreased by 2.7% during 8 months of 2011.

According to State Statistical Committee, 14.1 mln tons of cargo was transported via this transport during this period.

Average 683 wagons entrained, 455 â€“ detrained during the same period. 31,000 tons were entrained on North direction, 4,300 tons â€“ on West directions and 3,400 tons â€“ on South direction.
