Compensation to be given to family members of Azerbaijani pilots killed in Afghanistan

To him, the amount of compensation depending on the number of family members will be AZN 70-100 thousand: â€œThe full amount of compensation will be allocated to the families of four victims. The remaining five people are officially announced missing, so we need some time for legal procedures to recognize their deathâ€.

General Director of Silk Way Airlines Shamsaddin Mirsalamov said that the families of the missing crew members would receive compensation in the form of an advance.

Remind that, the dead crew members found on the board are operator Tapdig Gahramanov (born in 1964), air technologist Mehman Huseynov (born in 1962), co-pilot Oleg Marshikhin (born 1979), board engineer, a citizen of Uzbekistan, Vladimir Shatobin (born in 1969).

Ä°l-76 4K-AZ 55 aircraft was produced in 2005 and last time it passed tech inspection in February of 2011 and next time in June. All 9 members of crew team have been dead. 5 of them are the citizens of Azerbaijan, 4 â€“ Uzbekistan. Other 5 crew members announced missing.
