Azerbaijan to ban import of TVs working on analog system

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan will ban to export the TVs working on analog system, Minister of Communication and IT Ali Abbasov told reporters.

Minister said that, according to conditions of World Broadcasting Union, the switching to digital broadcasting had to be finished by 2015.

In Azerbaijan, this process will end in first half of 2013. THE government has adopted relevant decisions on it and the program was approved.
