Azerbaijan decreases production of construction materials by 40%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. In January-June, 2011, industrial enterprise in construction materials sphere produced AZN 97.4 mln â€“ output, down 40% compared to a year ago.

State Statistical Committee says that 682,400 tons of cement, 55,100 tons of building plaster, 368,900 tons of ready-mixed concrete for tow, 16,800 cubic meter of team-building concrete structures, 108,700 tons of asphalt, 102,400 cubic meters of brick was produced during January-June, 2011, compared to a year ago.

As of July 1, 2011, AZN 10.1 mln - stock of finished goods was at the warehouses of enterprises.
