Minister: â€œ3G license can be given to Bakcell and Azercell mobile operators in the near futureâ€

According to him, all the works on it have been finished, only the technical issues are being solved: â€œBoth operators can be given license on this service only after solving of the problemsâ€.

Note that, currently in Azerbaijan 3G service is available only at Azerfon company. Other mobile operators of the country - Bakcell and Azercell have not received an appropriate license yet.

Remind that, a 3G standard developed by the International Telecommunication Union and called ITM-2000 (International Mobile Telecommunications 2000). Technology of 3G - third generation services, which combines high-speed mobile access to the Internet network and wireless technology, creating a data transmission channels. Network of 3G is operating at 2 GHz and provide shipment of data rate of 2 Mbps, video calls, watching TV and movies on your mobile phone.
