Azerbaijan attended international cybercrime control conference

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Head of the legal affairs and human resources department of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies of Azerbaijan Bakhtiyar Mammadov attended the international conference â€œEastern Partnership: cooperation against cybercrimeâ€ (CyberCrime@EAP) in Tallinn, Estonia.

Participants of the conference organized by the Council of Europe and the Eastern Partnership program of the European Union discussed effective actions and cooperation of the EAP participating countries in the fight against cybercrime, Ministry of Communication and Information Technology told APA-Economics.

At the conference the Estonian side shared its expertise in cybersecurity, and the CE experts conducted presentation on the theme of fight against cybercrime.

The conference participants exchanged views on strategic priorities in the fight against crime in the Internet and electronic evidence, debated the formation of strategies and the need for international cooperation in this regard.
