Azerbaijan is going to launch second artificial communication satellite into space after 2012

Speaking about development of ICT sector deputy minister noted that, ICT supports development of other spheres of economy: â€œA lot of projects are being implemented in Azerbaijanâ€™s ICT sector. THE prices of internet services in the country is more expensive due to we are located in far from internet network. For reduction of prices, we have started construction of Super Information Highway. This project can change Azerbaijan to information junction â€“ transit countryâ€.

He also noted that, Azerbaijan intends to establish Techno Park for companies operating in ICT sector. According to him, US companies work in the project on launch of national satellite into orbit: â€œWeâ€™ll launch second satellite after first, in 2012â€.
