California hosts US-Azerbaijan ICT forum - PHOTO
According to APA, State Controller of California John Chiang greeted the participants and expressed gratitude the Azerbaijani delegation for interesting in cooperation.
Sheriff of Los-Angeles County of the U.S., Leroy Baka has shared the impressions about his visit to Azerbaijan. He stressed that, the economic progress had been observed in Azerbaijan as a result of President Ilham Aliyev’s purposeful policy and noted that regulation of conflicts there were important and called to strengthen the business circles.
Thereafter, two seminars have been held within the forum. The seminar was headed by Consul Ali Suleymanov and Azerbaijani Minister Ali Abbasov, the Chief Executive Officer and founder of STRATFOR Georgia Firedman, former mayor of Beverly Hills Jimmy Delshad, Boeing vice-president Martin Mertin Bentrott and Orbital vice-president Michael Do have made speeches.
Minister Ali Abbasov spoke about the Azerbaijani government’s purposeful policy directed to development of leading technologies I the country and establishment of Regional ICT Centre, including current opportunities for foreign companies in non-oil sector of economy. Representatives of Boeing and Orbital Companies appreciated professionalism of Azerbaijani partners.
Second seminar was held by the leadership of professor of Chapman University James Coyle. Representatives of business circles, as well head of Sinam Company Elchin Aliyev, head of Ultra Company Tahir Mirkishili, Jeyhun Mollazadeh from Qtel Company, Farid Ismayilzadeh from SilverKey, Bruce Hakimi from Cybercom, Elshen Baloglanov from West Coast Connections and Ilyas Naibov-Aylisli from Tans-Avrasiya INformasiys Highway project have discussed the concrete opportunities.
