Streets, avenues and roads to be coded in Azerbaijan

Note that, head of state has signed the rules on conduction of Address Register. But Habiyev says these rules need some annexes and amendments.

First of the main amendments in approach is the connection of addresses to the geographical coordinates: â€œThe addresses must be related to place information. For example, in European countries, you may enter the address in GPRS system in transport facilities and the apparatus indicates the way to reach the same addressâ€.

Second newness is giving of addresses to the entries of building: â€œThe addresses are prepared in entrance conception in all European Countriesâ€.

Third is elimination of address system from depending on street names. According to current system, changing of any street finishes with the changing of all documents. This causes time loss and other problems. For prevention of these, all streets, avenues and roads will be coded.

This system will be applied in Azerbaijan for the first time in CIS countries.
