Numbers of 20,000 Catel subscribers activated in Azerbaijan

Baku. Elnur HUseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. At present, Azerbaijan Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies tries to restore the Catel network, Deputy Minister of CIT Iltimas Mammadov informed.

According to him, numbers of 20,000 subscribers have been activated, so far: â€œWe used the services of Baku Telephone Communication PU. Discussions are being held with Catel administration for other Catel subscribers. Concrete decision will be determined, recentlyâ€.

Speaking about compensation, he noted that these issues will be reviewed in other cases: â€œOur duty is to create opportunity for organization of the service. There are certain technical problems and itâ€™s not easy to solve themâ€.

Note that, Catel has been in operation since 1997.
