Investments in fixed capital in Azerbaijan increases by 12%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. In January-March, 2011, volume of investments from all financing sources for construction works in Azerbaijan amounted to AZN 2.6 bn, up 12% compared to a year ago.

SSC says AZN 1.3 bn or 50.1% of the funds were spent to construction of production facilities. Domestic investments amounted to 75,2% of investments or AZN 1,9 billion, up 9.3% higher compared to a year ago.

The volume of investments in building and construction works amounted to AZN 1,5 billion, down 5.1% from a year ago.

AZN 3.4 bn funds are expected to allocate for construction works. AZN 683.4 mln of it has already been spent.
